Life Coaches: Coaches of the Christian Life or Life Coaches Who are Also Christian?

There is some inherent ambiguity in the term christian life coaches.  Does it refer to coaches who help people develop their christian life, as in christian experience?  Or, does it refer to life coaches who happen to be Christians?

As for me, I rather like the ambiguity because I believe it is both.  Life coaches who conduct their coaching from a specifically Christian viewpoint add an important spiritual dimension to the life coaching process.  A the same time, life coaches generally try to help people reach their potential by optimizing their strengths and overcoming personal and situational obstacles. For followers of Jesus, the term "christian life" refers to the sum total of their personal experience with God in every area of human experience.  For someone to coach them toward the enhancement of this life would necessarily mean an enhancement of their "Christian life."
